Orange & Rosé:

Sultry Seconds 2021 ~ Redwood Valley, Johnson Family Ranch

This pale, amber-colored wine was made from the remainder of half-pressed whole cluster Chardonnay grapes and underwent full skin and stem contact throughout a two week long fermentation. Opening with aromas of crushed citrus rind, grapefruit pith, kumquat and yeasty bread dough, flavors of Valencia orange, Oro Blanco grapefruit, tart apple, cucumber skin and wet granite follow. Firm tannins throughout culminate in a dry but smooth citrus finish. Oak barrel aged 7 months. This wine is foot stomping, lip smacking, finger licking good!

Afternoon Delight 2018 Rosé of Cabernet Franc & Malbec ~ Moon Mountain, Sonoma County

This sweeter, juicy Rosé is summer in a glass. Strawberries and raspberries falling off their vines accompany a fresh bouquet of tarragon, marjoram and rose. Notes of candied watermelon and strawberry rhubarb pie make this an easy drinking wine any time of the year!  Made with 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Malbec, this rosé was barrel fermented and aged in neutral French Oak on the lees for 8 months.

Ambrosia 2016 Rosé of Pinot Noir ~ Anderson Valley, Conzelman Vineyard

This bright salmon-colored Rosé wine began fermentation as fresh juice pressed from dark Pinot Noir grapes.  This minimal grape skin contact resulted in a lighter colored wine with floral aromas of strawberries, freshly sliced melon, and bubblegum.  Flavors are off-dry with a hint of wild strawberries, citrus and kiwi. Fermented and aged in stainless steel.
